LED Full Form: Light Emitting Diode
LCD Full Form: Liquid Crystal Display
CFL Full Form: Compact Fluorescent Lamp
A compact fluorescent lamp (CFL), also called compact fluorescent light, energy-saving light, and compact fluorescent tube, is a fluorescent lamp designed to replace an incandescent light bulb; some types fit into light fixtures designed for incandescent bulbs. The lamps use a tube which is curved or folded to fit into the space of an incandescent bulb, and a compact electronic ballast in the base of the lamp.

What does LED mean?
Light Emitting Diode
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. It is a p–n junction diode that emits light when activated. When a suitable current is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron holes within the device, releasing energy in the form of photons. This effect is called electroluminescence, and the color of the light (corresponding to the energy of the photon) is determined by the energy band gap of the semiconductor. LEDs are typically small (less than 1 mm2) and integrated optical components may be used to shape the radiation pattern. What does CFL mean?

White LEDs have advanced to the stage where they are a good substitute for the compact fluorescent lamp. The latest types are exhibiting superior efficacies (mostly because no power is wasted on powering heated cathodes) and a choice of 'color temperature'. The most common type consists of a blue light emitting diode with a coating of cerium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet which produces yellow light when the blue light from the diode lands on it. The combination of the yellow and blue light produces white light. LED bulbs have a long life of around 25,000 hours. Like CFLs, the light output degrades as the bulb ages though somewhat more slowly.
What does LCD stand for?
Liquid Crystal Display
A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is a thin, flat electronic visual display that contains liquid crystals, whose optical properties change in the presence of an electric field. LCDs must have an external light source to be visible. LCDs are commonly used in calculators, watches, digital cameras, and notebook computers.
